Marty Mason joined Electrical South as a field sales representative after working in customer service in 1979 in Greensboro, NC. As the company expanded Marty was promoted to National Sales Manager for the electronic control and industrial repair sales divisions.

In 1984 he moved his family to Hickory, NC where he joined Dixie Industrial Supply, a large industrial supply company, as a field sales representative. Asked to return to Electrical South in 1987 he did so as a territory sales rep for both the controls and repair divisions. Within 2 years Marty was promoted to the role of division manager for the southeast US.

Marty joined Paragon in mid-1999 as the East Coast Sales Manager with the sales people in that area reporting to him. In 2002. Paragon opened Paragon Atlantic in Charlotte, NC and he was named President.

Marty's education included attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Lenior-Rhnyne College and Catawba Valley Community College with a major in business.

His community outreach has included various projects, including serving on the Vestry, for Church of the Ascension in Hickory, NC. His wife Jo is a counselor with Hospice and he has two daughters Sarah and Anne.
