NEW PINK AND BLUE CANCER AWARENESS ROBOTS
HELP PARAGON COMPANIES SPREAD THE WORD
-- World-leading Industrial Electronic, Hydraulic and Servo Control Service and Repair Centers Introduce Two Robots Dedicated to the Cause --
Warren, Michigan, February 6, 2013 – Paragon Technologies today introduced two charming new robots named Betty and Bob. According to Paragon Chairman and President, Kevin Schoensee, the company has officially designated these robots as company delegates devoted to raising cancer awareness worldwide.
Paragon Technologies, a group of premier industrial electronic, hydraulic and servo control service and repair centers, utilizes a fleet of robots to fully test and run repair programs in-house before shipping them to clients worldwide. According to Schoensee, this ensures Paragon clients experience minimal down-time and repairs that return ready to put back into reliable service.
“We’ve been extremely successful for more than 25 years because we’ve always focused on providing our worldwide clients with ‘just-down-the-street’ service,” Schoensee said. “But, we’re also committed to giving back to the world in a big way. Our cancer awareness program is one way we feel strongly that we can accomplish this goal.”
Betty, a pink Fanuc M-16iB 20 Robot, does more than just highlight breast cancer awareness. Each time Betty is utilized in a client’s repair, Paragon donates a portion of the proceeds to support breast cancer awareness.
Bob, a blue Fanuc M16i Robot, is likewise more than just a symbol of prostate cancer awareness. Each time a repair program is run on Bob, Paragon donates a portion of the proceeds to support prostate cancer awareness.
“According to BreastCancer.org, approximately one out of every eight women in the United States will develop an invasive form of breast cancer within her lifetime,” Schoensee said. “In addition, prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, with more than 200,000 men diagnosed and as many as 28,000 or more men dying from the disease annually. This is why we’ve made it a point to give to these two vitally important causes the attention they deserve in a way that enables our clients to help us with our efforts.”
