John Ruscoe has over 15 years of industrial sales and sale’s management experience. Also including electronic, hydraulic, servo, proportional, mechanical and robot automation control repair, from component level to total machine rebuild with full turn-key closed loop systems to computer controlled processors. John works directly with purchasing, maintenance, engineering, plant managers, corporate buyers and CEOs. Customers range from major automotive makers to tier two suppliers, including steel, CNC machining, stamping, welding, food, glass, injection, and blow molding. John also works with distribution from a large network of partners.
John joined Paragon as a sale’s representative, during his junior year while pursuing a degree at the University of Toledo. He was responsible for developing new business and growing pre-existing accounts throughout northwest Ohio. In 2000, John rang in the millennium with consistent double digit growth and a promotion. John’s promotion included a transfer to Indianapolis, Indiana as the Midwest Sale Manager. He was responsible for sales in 7 territories located in 8 different states. He hired and trained sales representatives in each of them. John continued to grow accounts, topping triple digit growth in almost all of them. In 2002, John was promoted again to Vice President of Sales and managed 7 additional territories.
John has played a major part in managing corporate accounts throughout the years. He has worked with numerous corporate customers from details on contracts to managing the implementation process at the plant. John has also hired and trained onsite coordinators on Paragon’s asset management programs at several automotive assembly and stamping plants. This included flow processes, proprietary software, logistics and ISO audits.
John has had extensive travel throughout the Midwestern United States. He has also traveled for Paragon internationally with visits to Canada, Mexico, Germany, and Belgium.
Today, John continues his career with Paragon as a territory director and part of the management team. John holds responsibility over the state of Indiana and assists on any projects directed by corporate while reporting directly to Paragon’s Corporate headquarters in Warren, Michigan.
John is a college graduate and married with 2 children. He enjoys hanging out with his family on the weekends. He likes running and has completed 2 full marathons.
