OliCorp Testing Advantages
Output load testing:
Based on direct collaboration and feedback from customer facilities, Paragon has developed procedures that ensure your OilCorp unit will be tested against real world loads. A 20,000 watt load bank consisting of 10 individual resistive loads has been assembled to test your OliCorp unit. Machine operation requires 10 separate 2000 watt lamps be controlled simultaneously throughout operation.
Input power requirements:
A 400 VAC step down transformer has been installed at Paragon to achieve required test input power. A true 400 VAC input rating is permanently set within the unit from the factory and must maintain consistent throughout operation to avoid internal fault conditions.
Diagnostics, operation and monitoring:
Paragon uses OliCorp Supervisor software for troubleshooting, monitoring and operation of your unit. With this software, output level adjustments, unit setup, operation and fault monitoring is documented during repair and testing.
Connections:
Improvements to connection methods during testing are currently being implemented. Additional harnesses and indicators are fabricated to ensure that all connections are monitored during testing. This addition to the testing process will allow communication via ProfiBus and 24V monitoring through each of the external connectors on the unit.
